2/12/2016 0 Comments Walking in a Wortley wonderlandWe had a good day at the Wortley Hall Christmas Fair on Sunday. It was very well attended and we sold quite few things, particularly ceramic pig decorations for some reason. It’s funny that one fair seems mean particular items are popular, which is particularly odd as our stall is usually set out in more or less the same way.
Allie has mentioned several times that our jaunts out to craft fairs are usually accompanied by cake. In fact most of our outings do normally feature cake in some way. The cake of the day at Wortley was incredibly good salted caramel brownies. We also had some amazing fudge later in the day – well, we had to support some of the other sellers by sampling their wares! We are at another fair on Saturday, so please do come along and join us if you can. We will be at St Mary’s Church on South Road in Walkley for their Christmas Fair. The fair is open between 10 am and 2 pm and has a whole range of stalls selling Christmas gifts. It was lovely last year, so I’m really looking forward to it.
